Out and About: Canada Day 2012

It was Canada Day not too long ago, and as a surprise to some people, we celebrate it here in London! On July 1 of every year, there is a huge celebration at Trafalgar Square where Canadians and non-Canadians get together to celebrate the greatness of Canada. I went along with my friends dressed in our Canadian gear and flag painted faces to celebrate the day.

The day is packed full of events, from Canadian artists performing on stage, a hockey tournament, lots of freebies, wonderful food to Canadian beer.

Buffalo burgers are amazing along with my favourite: Putin!

There's also chances to meet some Mounties! We all love Mounties!

Cue Due South theme song. (Don't kill me).

Will you be in London next year to celebrate it? If so, here's the website where you'll find the full schedule of the day. http://www.canadadaylondon.com/
